There's a cycle that I am trying to redirect just a bit, if not a lot. It's pretty simple.

It generally goes like this:

Factory => Distributor => Pro Shop => Bowler => Closet or Garage => Garbage => Landfill

So, what I would like you to do:  Don't throw your ball away.  There are many other uses for used bowling balls.  You could give it to a bowler.  You could ask your local bowling center or pro shop if they want it.  Maybe you can resell it.  Maybe you could give it to a younger bowler who can't afford a new one.
